♥ Monster Spray ♥ This is Genius and totally Adorable!!!

My Dad used to come to our rooms armed with "Monster Spray" when we had nightmares. He sprayed it under the bed, in my shoes, all the places monsters might hide. I loved it, the scent comforted me til I fell asleep. // what a great idea!

Blessing Bags

This was such an easy project. We are now going to keep a few "Blessing Bags" in our car so that when we do happen to see someone on the streets who is homeless, we can hand them a Blessing Bag. I first learned of these bags from my friend, Julie. I am using the picture of her bags (see above) because the ones we took were taken in horrible lighting and turned out really grainy and hard to see what is inside of them.

If you'd like to make your own Blessing Bags, this is what you would need:

Gallon size Ziplock bags

items to go in the bags, such as:

chap stick

packages of tissues

toothbrush and toothpaste

comb

soap

trail mix

granola bars

crackers

pack of gum

band aids

mouthwash

coins (could be used to make a phone call, or purchase a food item)

hand wipes

you could also put in a warm pair of socks, and maybe a Starbucks gift card

Assemble all the items in the bags, and maybe throw in a note of encouragement. Seal the bags and stow in your car for a moment of providence.

This would be a great activity to do with some other families. Each family could bring one of the items going into the bags (ex: toothbrushes). Set up all the items around a table and walk around it with the ziplocks and fill the bags.

So, my Sales guy's wife had a baby recently and I've seen the diaper cakes before and thought they were too cute but Ive never had an opportunity to get one to give as a gift, til now.... I started shopping around for one and could not believe what some places were charging so.....lol...me being me the "DIY Queen" decided that I could do it for cheaper and better....the result...I think I did pretty damn good for my first diaper cake lol ☺

It was pretty simple to make, the hardest part was the design but I guess thats also in my opinion the funnest part ☺

I started searching the net on what items needed etc... and its pretty much you guess as you go, no real rule to it but I did find this you tube video by xoxoamandakisses that was really easy to follow and very helpful!

Creating these cases has now become an obsession lol. I use arched tweesers and apply each one by hand and I tell ya my thumb and pointer finger on my right hand is ready to fall off. I have found thru my research something from China called a Magic Stick that looks like a pen with a rubber tip. Supposedly this tip picks up beads etc... by just touching it to the bead. Im praying this will work or else Im afraid my hand will soon fall off ☺ I will keep you posted and let you know if it works once I receive it.

I am excited for the weekend! Its my baby brother's B-day tomorrow and we have a busy weekend planned. ☺ I have had barely any time to be creative but I was able to squeeze in some time the other night to start on a new cell phone case! Its so difficult to peel away from crafting, I could seriously do it all day, everyday and never get sick of it.

Last week I applied for a Vendor position at the Craft Lake City Crafts Fair. We are supposed to hear back if we have been chosen by mid-end June. It would be my first fair with my own creations so it would be very exciting!! Keeping my fingers crossed ☺

Almost Friday........♥

So last night I spent hours re-designing my blog. Talk about OMG!! My husband is a wiz at all this HTML etc... but me its all Greek! But hey I am learning right lol.

At work today....ugh....at least it looks like its gonna be a nice day (fingers crossed) I am so ready for the sunshine! No plans yet for the weekend, since its Easter on Sunday I may color eggs by myself, thats the downfall of not having kids yet. Its definately times like that that I do long for kids of my own I would be in Heaven right along side my kiddos coloring eggs ☺ Someday right ☺

This specific case is for an Iphone 4

Every accent is glued by hand with an Epoxy type glue with super strong hold. Although the glue is extremely strong if you were to drop your phone or bang it against something it is likely some of the accents could break off.

Take extra care of your case & if any accents were to come off, using regular super glue should do the trick in reapplying.
